Ultera controllers are marketed and sold through major OEMs and Storage Integrators, Resellers, and Distributors at several levels of completion:

• As controller boards
• As fully enclosed controllers with operator panels
• DVD-R / CD-R mastering controllers in drive-ready cabinets for plug-and-play integration

Ultera's controllers are compatible with all major disk, tape technologies and optical drives, and do not require special driver routines or software revisions. They are designed to appear to their host computers as single virtual devices which just happen to demonstrate performance levels up to 4 times what those hosts may be expecting.
