Tape Library Mirroring What is Mirroring?
Ultera's LibraryMaster™ and RAILMaster™controller feature tape library mirroring for automated disaster recovery and media duplication applications.  The controllers appear to the host system as a single tape library with one or more tape drives ("Logical Drive Sets").   A "Logical Drive Set" consists of an array of up to 5 tape drives and is seen by the host as a single logical tape device ("Virtual Tape Drive").
Library RAID Whether your disaster recovery backup management strategy requires a single library, multiple libraries or autoloaders, Ultera's tape library mirroring storage solutions protect your data at a level no single tape library can provide.  

The LibraryMaster™ controller provides data mirroring within a single tape library with seamless scalability.  

The RAILMaster™ controller provides data mirroring across 2, 3, 4 or 5 tape libraries with seamless scalability.
Ultera's Tape RAID controllers also feature Stripe Mirror and Mixed Controller Cascading to provide flexible and scalable removable storage solutions to meet your needs.
